Peachtree City Mayor Kim Learnard shared the following statement after qualifying for the November 4, 2025 municipal election ballot.
Today our campaign officially qualified for the ballot. I’d be honored to earn your vote for a second term this November. I am proud of my record and the great things happening in PTC – we are beautifying the heart of our city, replacing aging infrastructure, repaving roads, solving traffic, expanding our paths, and welcoming new businesses in buildings that sat vacant. We lowered the millage rate to give you tax relief, capped property tax assessments, and then passed a property tax break for low income seniors. We’ve eliminated user fees at the splash pad and athletic fields, opened a new ADA playground and repaved our running track. We are ranked on the list of Top 10 Safest Cities in Georgia and we’re putting an SRO in every elementary school. We have a strong, conservative budget and a AAA bond rating. I successfully fought off apartments at the Kmart space, and I continue to protect the character of our Villages and our prized green spaces. Let’s keep the momentum going!
